From 2013 to 2014, Garai was a student in the Playable Fashion after-school program.
In 2017 he returned as a Student Resident. While a Student Resident, Garai was assisting the education program and was working on a project illuminating the issue of rape culture on college campuses. Currently, he is launching a project to encourage local, sustainable opportunities connecting community gardens and NYC’s homelessness population as the CEO of Come Find Help.
